Understanding the Survey Table
-
Column Headers
Each survey table typically contains four columns:
(a) Requirement
The title or description of the question or scope being assessed.
(b) Response
A summary of the legal requirement for that particular item.
(c) Reference
The legal citation, including clickable links (displayed in purple) to the primary source where available. This ensures you can easily verify the authority and access the original legal text.
(d) Necessity
Indicates the necessity level of the requirement. For detailed definitions, refer to the Glossary.
-
Footnotes
Click any footnote (displayed as a purple superscript number) to open a side panel with additional information and context. This feature allows you to access clarifications, explanations, or references without leaving the main survey table.
Example: Clicking the [1] superscript in the table below opens a side panel with further details.

Pending Requirements
If there are upcoming requirements (such as laws that have been passed but are not yet in force) these will be marked as "Pending Requirement." All other requirements are currently in effect.
